Welcome to Cobden Conversations! This is our very own podcast, planned and created by students at Cobden Primary School as part of the Student Leaders Congress project.

In each episode, we get to sit down with people from our Cobden community and ask them about their lives. We especially want to know how they look after their mental health and wellbeing, and what advice they have for kids like us.

Our goal is to share stories, learn new ideas, and give other kids some helpful tips for staying happy and healthy. Plus, we get to practise awesome skills like interviewing, recording, and podcasting!

In our very first episode, we chat with Councillor Jo Beard. Jo shares her story of growing up in Cobden, raising a family here, her time as a councillor and mayor, and all the amazing volunteer work she’s been part of. She also talks about how she cares for her mental health and shares some great tips for kids.
